Louise Nevelson was an artist known for creating beautiful sculptures made from everyday objects, like wood, metal, and even old furniture! She was born in 1899 in Russia and moved to the United States when she was young. Louise loved to collect and transform discarded pieces into amazing artwork. Her sculptures were often large and colorful, and she would paint them all one color, like black or gold, to make them look like one big, powerful piece of art. Nevelson is remembered for being a trailblazer for women in the art world and for showing how creativity can turn ordinary things into something special.
